A really nice, fancy, quiet atmosphere to have lunch on a warm spring day. We got the tuna dunburri and the wagyuu donburri. Both were very good, and came with delicious sides. I'd recommend this place as a quiet place to relax with a cup of tea as well.

one of the most relaxing and serene cafes I’ve been to the window is huge (it takes up a whole wall’s worth of space) and overlooks a stream with a beautiful view. the owner is so sweet as well, and the warabi sundae was delicious!!! i cant recommend it enough. please go!

After a slow morning of walking taking in the local shrines we stopped off here for lunch. It looked nice from the website. We were not disappointed. Very relaxed atmosphere, our Japanese is very poor but the owners are beyond friendly and have handy pictures that accompany the dishes so you know what you're ordering. The food itself was delicious. We had free flowing tea on arrival. So relaxing by the stream. Be careful about mosquitos, my partner and I where on the menu as well during lunch, the owners tried their absolute hardest to improve this. Certainly wasn't worth taking a star of for what was a perfect meal. Would highly recommend if you're after a relaxing tasty meal.

Quite unlucky to visit this dainty cafe when the river beside it was under irrigation! We caught a stray cat pooping across the street, though, so maybe we weren’t that unlucky? Haha. Anyway, the master was very kind. He has a nice collection of photo albums with the shop’s pictures all throughout the four seasons. Would love to go back in the springtime or on a very snowy day. Coffee wasn’t so good though and he served us cold toasted bread. Hehe

such a beautiful and quiet cafe with soft jazz playing in the background. when i went they did not have food, just desserts and drinks, but nonetheless it was such a wonderful and peaceful experience. i got the coffee and cake and they were both delicious. i'm honestly upset i don't live in kyoto because i'd come here everyday
